RUGBY LEAGUE: Toowoomba’s own Shenae Ciesiolka will experience the Origin cauldron once again.
The Valleys Diehards talent was named on the wing for Queensland ahead of their clash with rivals New South Wales on the Sunshine Coast on June 25.
The selection is a reward for a strong season at the BHP Premiership level, where she scored
five tries and assisted with two more as she alternated between wing, fullback and centre.
Ciesiolka was a member of the Maroons history-making side last year, as Queensland claimed its first win since the match-up was rebranded as State of Origin.
Five debutants have been named in the 19-woman Maroons squad, with four of Ciesiolka’s Diehards teammates included.
The squad is in camp at the moment as they look to defend the shield.
