As the Toowoomba Rugby League powers on into the second half of the season, we power rank every team from 44-1 ahead of this weekend’s games.

RUGBY LEAGUE: The TRL is 14 rounds through, and with a crucial period coming up, moving up the ladder is vital.
The Chronicle ranks all 44 teams across all grades as we enter round 15.
44. NEWTOWN A (0-13)
Down to 10 men and couldn’t compete from that point against Oakey.
43. NEWTOWN RESERVES (0-11)
Outclassed against a resurgent Oakey.
42. PITTSWORTH WOMEN (1-8)
Downed heavily by Highfields before having a week off. Face a trip to Goondiwindi.
41. BROTHERS WOMEN (2-8)
Followed up a forfeit against Gatton by going down to Valleys.
40. OAKEY U19 (1-11)
Undermanned and conceded a huge score at the hands of Brothers Ipswich.
39. PITTSWORTH U19s (1-11)
On the wrong end of the ledger against Highfields then competitive, but downed by Wattles.
38. DALBY WOMEN (2-8)
Competed fairly well in tough outings against Valleys and Highfields.
37. OAKEY RESERVES (1-12)
Fielded their best team of the year and were rewarded with a big win over Newtown.
36. PITTSWORTH A (2-11)
Showing patches of good play but unable to put it together for a full 80 minutes.
35. WATTLES U19s (3-9)
Been playing well of late and were able to get the spoils over Pittsworth last start.
34. SOUTHS A (3-10)
Conceded the half century in back-to-back games against Oakey and Goondiwindi.
33. BROTHERS A (2-11)
Started well and put up a good fight against Valleys before fading late.
32. HIGHFIELDS WOMEN (3-6)
Have a rough chance of making the finals after putting together wins against Pittsworth and Dalby.
31. SOUTHS RESERVES (4-9)
Continuing a solid season after edging out Oakey and fighting hard against the Boars.
30. BROTHERS RESERVES (4-1-8)
Their finals hopes look to be over after losses to Dalby and Valleys.
29. BROTHERS U19s (4-6)
Started strong against Valleys before finding the Roosters too strong.
28. REDBANK U19s (5-7)
Continued a solid year in Toowoomba with a win over Oakey before having the bye.
27. OAKEY A (4-9)
Backed up some narrow losses with wins over Souths and Newtown. Their big test is this weekend against Valleys.
26. VALLEYS RESERVES (6-7)
Their win over Brothers keeps them right in the hunt for the finals.
25. GOONDIWINDI WOMEN (5-4)
Had a few weeks off but getting back into it when at home to Pittsworth.
24. WARWICK RESERVES (7-6)
In a group of teams looking for a finals spot after splitting their last two games. Pushed Gatton all the way.
23. VALLEYS WOMEN (6-3)
Putting a few wins together and are now favourites for a vital top-three finish.
22. GOONDIWINDI RESERVES (7-6)
Mixing form but are putting wins on the board when needed to stay in the finals race.
21. DALBY RESERVES (7-1-5)
Outclassed by Gatton but still right in the hunt after downing Brothers.
20. WARWICK U19s (6-5)
Found Gatton way too strong and need a win to keep their season alive.
19. PITTSWORTH RESERVES (7-6)
Find themselves on the outside of the five after a few losses in a row. Need a win ASAP.
18. DALBY U19s (7-1-4)
Were superb against Highfields in one of the games of the season. Their best competes for a title.
17. OAKEY WOMEN (5-4)
Put on a good showing against Newtown. Face a battle against Valleys with a top-three spot on the line.
16. WARWICK A (7-6)
Competed well in Goondiwindi before falling just short against Gatton. Playing well but just falling short.
15. VALLEYS A (8-5)
Put a few wins on the board in successive weeks. Now onto a tough clash in Oakey this weekend.
14. VALLEYS U19s (8-4)
Really starting to find their feet in this competition and look destined for a finals run.
13. DALBY A (9-4)
Back-to-back losses have virtually ended their minor premiership hopes. Get a chance to bounce back this weekend.
12. GATTON RESERVES (9-1-3)
Extended their winning streak with a grinding win over a tough Warwick side.
11. BROTHERS IPSWICH U19s (8-2)
Were almost able to crack the century in a dominant display at the weekend.
10. HIGHFIELDS U19s (9-1-2)
Pulled out all stops to get out of their game against the Diehards with a draw. Can still take top spot.
9. NEWTOWN WOMEN (8-1)
Were challenged by Oakey but rose to it well. They’re going along nicely.
8. GOONDIWINDI A (10-3)
Out of nowhere they’ve now moved right into the conversation for the top three.
7. GATTON A (11-2)
One of their toughest wins in recent years to keep a dogged Warwick side at bay.
6. WATTLES RESERVES (12-1)
A class outfit that continues to take care of business. Their big test is against Highfields on Sunday.
5. WATTLES A (11-2)
Have been putting up some big scores in recent times and moved to top spot on points differential.
4. GATTON U19s (10-1)
They were super impressive against a strong Warwick side. They look the class in the competition.
3. HIGHFIELDS A (11-2)
Took the game away from Dalby in the blink of an eye with an incredible second half.
2. GATTON WOMEN (10-0)
Have only had the one game since the President’s Cup and will have another week off.
1. HIGHFIELDS RESERVES (12-1-0)
Continued their unbeaten run in style and will power into their President’s Cup rematch on Sunday.
