Hills Hornets have forced their way into the girls quarter-finals at the 11th hour with a brilliant win over Canberra.
The Hornets, spearheaded by dynamic duo Gurkiran Bhullar and Sienna Clark, pulled off a major heist to sneak their way into the finals on the last day of the pool games.

The pair combined for 35 points as the Hornets powered past the Canberra side 81-38 on Thursday.
The big scoreline helped the Hornets climb from outside the tournament top eight into finals contention, setting up a tough clash with the undefeated Sandringham Sabres on Friday.
The Sabres showed just what they are capable of earlier on Thursday when they made short work of Western Australian contenders Rockingham Flames.

Maddison Carr continued her impressive tournament on the scoring end with 18 points as the Sabres put the Flames to the sword in a 71-29 win.
The Sabres have been one of the form sides of the tournament and will take some beating in the quarter-finals.
In other action on court four in Thursday Warwick Senators girls powered their way past the Lakeside Lightning 81-32, while Canberra went down to Perry Lakes Hawks 75-61.

The girls from the nation’s capital have a golden opportunity to put themselves in the play-offs race in Perth.
Canberra, who are being coached by the legendary Cal Bruton, will get two bites at the cherry in a big day of court four action on Thursday.
The Canberra side has come within a whisker of notching their first win of the tournament twice now, and will be looking to get over that hurdle against Perry Lakes Hawks in the opening match of the day.

The Hawks will take some beating after Eva Smith propelled the side to its second win of the tournament on Wednesday.
Canberra will back up later on Thursday in what could be a must-win clash against Sydney rivals Hills Hornets.
After Paris Spencer helped them sneak past Canberra by four points on Wednesday, the Rockingham Flames will be determined to build on the result when they clash with Sandringham Sabres.
In other day three action the Wildcats Academy boys will clash with the West Adelaide Bearcats, while Warwick Senators will meet Lakeside Lightning in an all-WA affair.
