RUGBY LEAGUE: Jarrod Wallace is excited to be back for the Gold Coast Titans.

And the 26-year-old doesn't care that he'll be starting off the bench.

"I was expecting it (starting off the bench) to tell you the truth," Wallace said.

"Obviously the boys are playing well and I was happy to come back through Tweed or Burleigh - whatever I had to do for the team.

"But thankfully he (coach Garth Brennan) has chucked me on the bench and now I'm just excited to get ready for this week and to rip in against the Dragons.

"It'll just mean I come on later in the game and just do what I need to do."

Wallace admitted sitting on the sidelines because of a three-game suspension, hadn't been easy.

"Last few weeks I've sitting there anxious and nervous - just watching the boys play is not a good feeling," Wallace said.

"But you know they did really well. In the Canberra game they got the win and I can't fault their effort last week even though we didn't get the two points.

"Obviously they were disappointed but it's a good learning curve early and we know what we can fix up."

Wallace has been particularly impressed by the form of new Gold Coast signing Jai Arrow.

"It's exactly what I knew he was going to do," Wallace said.

"He's had the best season he's ever had, he's as strong as he's ever been and it's exciting that he's playing such good footy.

"I just want to come in and back him up and do the same."

IN TOMORROW'S EDITION: Konrad Hurrell will play his 100th NRL game this Sunday. What did the former Warrior change to improve his game when he joined the Titans.
