BASKETBALL: Toowoomba wheelchair basketball player Hayden Seibuhr is set to become a dual international - of sorts.

Seibuhr (pictured) heads overseas next for the 5th Bali Cup International Wheelchair Basketball Invitational where he will represent Indonesia.

The Queensland Spinning Bullets player will line-up alongside fellow Aussies Jontee Brown and Dylan Gawthorne.

"I guess you can call us ring-ins,” Seibuhr said.

"The call went out a little while ago to see if there were Australians interested in joining teams for the competition.

"We're in the side to help raise the standard a little more and help the team in general.”

Signing up for the July 12-15 competition was an easy decision to make according to Seibuhr, who has also represented Australia.

"It will be interesting to see what level the game is at over there,” Seibuhr said.

"It'll also be interesting to see how they play the game. We play at a pretty high level here in Australia but it's always interesting to see how other teams and countries play it.”

Seibuhr is also looking forward to sharing some of knowledge with other players.

"I switched from swimming to basketball a little over two years ago and I just love the sport,” he said.

"We've got a few sessions with our team before the competition starts.

"It'll be a good opportunity for me and the boys to share a little bit of our knowledge with our new teammates.”

The competition, to be played at the Bali International School, runs from July 11-15.
