A property in Harlaxton has just hit the market with massive potential for buyers and investors.
The property spans across three existing residential lots, 89 and 91 Ruthven St, and 3 Myall St, Harlaxton.
Located on the corner of Ruthven and Myall streets, the 2271sq m site was expected to have huge rental upside, with an expression of interest campaign listing the properties for sale as separately or in one line.
Positioned in a low-medium density residential zoning, the corner block could allow for a number of development opportunities.
Ray White Commercial Toowoomba principal Paul Schmidt-Lee said the site had a lot of potential.
“There’s a huge interest for this site from all across Australia, it’s not common to have this type of development site available,” Mr Schmidt-Lee said.
“It’s along the main thoroughfare between Toowoomba and Highfields so it’s an ideal location.”
The site is located 2.5km from Toowoomba’s CBD and is near Northpoint Shopping Centre and Downlands College.
With access to major transport routes including Toowoomba train station and Warrego Highway, the property is in a prime location.
Mr Schmidt-Lee said the site could be turned into at least ten residential houses.
“With the cost of living and the difficulty in finding affordable housing in Australia currently, a residential area would be ideal. However, there is potential to build a retailing or commercial site as well,” Mr Schmidt-Lee said.
“It is also ideal for investors because of holding income, which allows for flexibility in holding a property.”
An expressions of interest campaign is being held for the three lots, to be sold separately or together.
The campaign for this property closes at 4pm on Tuesday, September 12.
