Work starts on headquarters for Toowoomba bypass

BREAKING: Works have started on an office complex that will act as headquarters for Nexus Infrastructure during construction of the Second Range Crossing.

BREAKING: Works have started on a new office complex that will act as the headquarters for Nexus Infrastructure during construction of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.

The office complex, which will include a car park, storage and laydown area, is located on Vision St, Wellcamp.

Nexus staff working in the western section of the project will be based at this office from June until project completion in late 2018.

Initial works will include surveying and the construction of site access gates, temporary fencing and concrete works for footings and paths.

Once completed, Nexus will start to deliver oversized plant, machinery and equipment to the complex.

Traffic control will be on site, as required, to manage short-term lane closures for heavy vehicles.

There will be an increase in light and heavy vehicle traffic along Vision St, Witmack Rd and O'Mara Rd throughout the project.
