PLANS to build a motor racing circuit that would rival Bathurst on the outskirts of Toowoomba are on hold.
Wagners last year announced it wanted a track near the Wellcamp Airport operational by August 2016.
However, a change in the State Government has caused delays.
Wagners had engaged V8 Supercar legend Mark Skaife and IEDM to design the track.

Chairman John Wagner told speedcafe.com that plans were to put the proposal to the State Government earlier this year.
"We haven't had a chance to talk with this new government yet," he told speedcafe.com.
"The reality is, it is still a fair way off.
"It's a work in progress is the easiest way to put it.
"We'll get there but it's just a matter of time.
"It is something we definitely want to do but we've got to get the funding sorted.
"I've got a number of irons in the fire in that department, so I'm just going through the process."
Wagners plans to build the track on a 2000ha site next to the Wellcamp Airport.
Mr Wagner said the track could be built within six months.
