WAGNERS has released a time-lapse video of the ongoing construction of Wellcamp Airport's 2.87km runway.
The project's progress will be on show when its gates are open to the public on Sunday, November 24.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.
"It will be a family day, with lots of activities for the kids," Wagners chairman John Wagner said.
"You'll actually be able to see the dump trucks and machinery working and a number of aircraft will land on the new airstrip throughout the day, although it will still be gravel.
"We would encourage everyone who has an interest in this iconic project to come and have a look.
"We're expecting in excess of 10,000 people on the day."
