Women of Strength: Hundreds out in force to support Toowoomba Hospital | Photo gallery

Australian horse racing royalty has dropped into the Garden City to raise vital funds for the Toowoomba Hospital’s neonatal unit. See all the photos from the event here.

Funds raised at a Toowoomba Hospital Foundation event on Friday will go towards creating a more private space for premature, vulnerable and at-risk babies and their parents.

Hundreds descended on Rumours International for the Women of Strength luncheon, one of the signature events on the foundation’s calendar.

Australian horse trainer and businesswoman Gai Waterhouse was the event’s main guest, joining the audience of more than 700 people for a special question and answer session.

“It’s such a privilege to be in Toowoomba,” Waterhouse said.
