Two people have been injured after a crash on an increasingly notorious intersection in Toowoomba’s western suburbs.

Emergency crews were called to the corner of West and Stephen St in Harristown after two vehicles collided just before 1pm on Tuesday.

Two people were taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

It adds to the increasing number of car, motorcycle and bicycle casualties this year along the southern strip of West St between South and Stephen streets, including the tragic death of two motorcyclists.
