While she initially thought she was being pranked for an episode of Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, a Toowoomba woman now realises she’s $100,000 richer from the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The surprised winner scored a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot in draw 10436 on Tuesday.

She will take home $100,000.

As well as winning the first prize, the stoked woman also won a consolation prize of $1,000 boosting her total windfall to $101,000.

When an official from The Lott reached the winner this afternoon, she explained she got the shock of her life when she checked her ticket and saw she’d won.

“I went into the newsagency this morning and when I checked my ticket, the lady at the counter just went completely blank,” she said.

“She told me to come into a private room, sat me down with a glass of water and that’s when I found out.

“I originally thought I might be on one of those funniest home video shows, or some kind or prank show!

“It felt like a gotcha moment. But they reassured me it was real, it was happening!

“I got very panicked and felt like I was about to have a stroke!

“It’s just amazing. I am still in shock now.

“I haven’t told my family yet, but I am going to break the news to them once the money is in my account. I’ll just show them the transaction on my phone!

The woman said she would spend the money on bills and maybe some new jewellery.

The happy winner, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased her ticket at The Lucky Charm Clifford Gardens.

The Lucky Charm Clifford Gardens team member Katie Picton said the outlet was celebrating selling another major prize.

“It’s great news,” she said.

“We sold a first prize in the Lucky Lotteries not that long ago, so it’s great to sell another one.

“Congratulations to our winner! We hope she really enjoys her prize and it’s been a great surprise for her.

“Hopefully we can make more of our customers major prize winners in 2021.”
