Emergency services called to truck rollover on New England Highway at Warwick

Emergency services were called to a truck rollover in the Southern Downs.

Police, paramedics and firefighters have responded to a two-vehicle crash at Warwick that has cut the New England Highway.

According to the initial reports, a car and rigid truck collided near the Bracker Road intersection, about 2.20pm on Wednesday.

Paramedics assessed one patient who was still inside the car, while the truck driver was able to extricate himself prior to the emergency service’s arrival.

Both lanes of traffic on the highway were closed to traffic, but has since reopened.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said two patients were transported to the Warwick Hospital in stable conditions.
