Friends and family are rallying around Tracy Sauverain after her son died suddenly.

It is understood 12-year-old Deacon suffered a medical episode while in a spa on Anzac Day.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics rushed to the home at Glen Niven, in the Southern Downs, about 2.30pm.

Sadly, Deacon could not be saved, and he died at the scene.

Family friend Kimberley Riley has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support Ms Sauverain.

“Tracy’s and her family’s life was turned upside down by the loss of her 12-year-old son Deacon,” she said.

“Tracy is a single Mum to four beautiful children and anyone who knows her, knows she goes above and beyond for her children every single day.

“To see her going through this unimaginable grief is something I can’t even describe.

On the campaign page Ms Riley shared she was collecting money to help with funeral, mortgage and day-to-day living expenses.

“I am starting this GoFundMe to try and provide some relief in this difficult time and to allow Tracy and the family to concentrate on the hard road ahead without the added pressures,” she said.
