If there’s one team in Toowoomba that shows an enviable amount of grit and determination, it’s the Darling Downs Panthers.

The players have made an incredible turnaround from wooden spoon players to a top tier team.

Most recently, the Panthers have launched a bid to return to the Sapphie Series – a statewide competition encompassing areas like the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Ipswich.

It’s not only their skills that have earned the team a great reputation, but their passion in seeking recognition for their players during their bid to have the series expanded over the Darling Downs.

As far as putting Toowoomba on the map, the teams are already on their way to success.
