Toowoomba photographer nabs lifetime membership for his work

The Australian Cultural Library has proudly awarded renowned Toowoomba photographer Graham Burstow OAM with an honorary lifetime membership to the Australian Cultural Library.
It is awarded in recognition of his long and distinguished service to the arts in Australia.
The ACL is an independent, volunteer run, donation based Australian arts and humanities reference only library.
ACL members voted unanimously to award Mr Burstow with the association’s first ever honorary lifetime membership at the library’s annual general meeting.
Mr Burstow is an internationally-renowned photographer with many books of works published, a founder of the Australian Photographic Society and lecturer in photography.
His passion for capturing moments started when he was seventeen after his older brother had joined the Toowoomba Grammar School’s camera club.
For several years Mr Burstow has been attending ACL events and passing his knowledge and expertise to volunteers and visitors, adding to their lives a valuable insight which only experience and expertise can offer.
