A rescue helicopter was called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash in the state’s south.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the Cunningham Highway at Oman Ama in the Goondiwindi region east of Inglewood about 7.22am.
A man in his 50s, the sole occupant of the vehicle, suffered a hand injury and reported chest pain in the rollover, and due to concerns over a potential neck injury the rescue helicopter was called to the scene.
The man was flown in a stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the highway was closed in both directions while the man was being loaded onto the helicopter, however it has now reopened.
Ute fall
A young man has been taken to hospital after he reportedly fell off the back of a ute in a Southern Downs small town on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Herbert and Darling Streets in Allora just before 10pm.
The man in his 20s was treated for head injuries and taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
