Man remains in hospital weeks after road crash was caught on dashcam
New details have emerged about the elderly driver behind the wheel of the car in the dramatic crash along one of Toowoomba’s busiest streets.

A man who was behind the wheel of a shocking crash that was caught on camera and went viral on social media remains in hospital following a crash in Kearneys Spring on June 9.
Two weeks since the accident, the man in his 90s still remains in hospital in a stable condition, according to Darling Downs Health.
A QAS spokesperson said he was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with head and neck pain after the crash.
A video of the accident was caught on dashcam by another driver and clocked up millions of views online.
The man was driving along Ruthven Street and was seen swerving across the double lane road, almost crashing into another car before driving off the road and into a tree next to Genius Childcare centre.
The damaged vehicle has not yet been moved and was taped off by the Fire Department.
