Toowoomba crash: LifeFlight rescue three people in six hours
In a matter of hours, rescue helicopters were tasked to serious crashes across the region – from a car that slammed into a tree, to a rollover on a major highway.

In a matter of six hours on Sunday, LifeFlight helicopter crews were tasked to back-to-back missions to rescue people after three different, but serious crashes.
Just before 10am , LifeFlight crews were called to a recreational racing track north-west of Toowoomba.
It’s believed a man in his 20s was riding his motorcycle at the track when he attempted a jump and fell from his bike.
LifeFlight crews and Queensland Ambulance Services paramedics treated him for head and facial injuries before he was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Moments after returning to their base, the same crew was called t a single-vehicle crash south of Toowoomba.
The LifeFlight crew joined paramedics, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services personnel and police officers in treating a female in her 50s.
It’s believed her car slammed into a tree.
She was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with suspected spinal injuries.
At the same time, the Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service crew was called to assist a man in another single vehicle crash north-west of Toowoomba.
It’s believed a man in his 60s was driving when one if the car’s tyres blew, and caused the vehicle to roll and crash.
He was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition, suffering suspected head injuries.
