Bush Summit 2025: Conference supporting regional communities battling natural disasters

Renowned for its rich soil, abundant farmland, and robust livestock, the future of agriculture across the Darling Downs will be brought to the forefront at this years’ Bush Summit.

Premier David Crisafulli will headline this year’s Queensland Bush Summit in Toowoomba, a major event bringing together the state’s decision makers and leaders of business and the community to advocate for our region’s future.

News Corp Australia’s agenda-setting series will offer events across six states in August, with entry free - however guests must register ahead of time.

The Toowoomba Bush Summit will feature several panels with Queensland parliament leaders, industry insiders and thought leaders on the future of Connectivity for rural Queensland, agricultural technnology as well as the plans for the city forging its path forward to hosting Equestrian at the 2032 Games.

The event on August 25 will feature Queensland Premier David Crisafulli, Queensland Treasurer David Janetzki, Royal Agricultural Society of Queensland chief executive Damon Philips, and deputy mayor Rebecca Vonhoff and many more.

The Chronicle editor Jordan Philp said that hosting the event in Toowoomba is a win, as it puts the region’s unique issues in front of a national audience.

“We will have some of the most influential people in Queensland and from across the country in one room, so it’s a golden opportunity,” he said.

“Not only can we celebrate our region at this event, but we can also raise the individual needs of the sectors within our region and surroundings in front of the right audience who can help create change.”

The event is hosted at The Goods Shed from 1.30am to 12.30pm.
