What has been a rainy start to the week will continue for a while to come, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting another week of wet weather for the Darling Downs.
On their district forecast, the BOM predicts a 90 per cent chance of rain on Tuesday, along with the chance of a thunderstorm and 20 to 30 km/h winds in the morning.
Overnight temperatures will fall to 19 degrees and daytime temperatures will reach the low to mid 20s.
The BOM has also predicted showers in the east of the region on Wednesday, and the chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon.
Overnight temperatures will drop as low as 17 but daytime temperatures will peak in the high 20s.
The weather is predicted to change on Thursday, with a sunny day ahead and light winds in the evening.
Thursday will have the region’s lowest overnight temperatures, reaching 16 degrees, with daytime temperatures hitting the high 20s.
This comes as New South Wales continues to be battered by a major rain event, and serious flooding in the northern parts of the state, and around Sydney.
