Police charge woman after two-vehicle Wilsonton Heights crash
Police have arrested and charged a woman following a two-vehicle crash yesterday morning in a busy day for emergency services.

UPDATE: Police have charged a woman following a two-vehicle crash at Wilsonton Heights on Saturday morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman confirmed a woman aged in her 20s was charged with mid-range drink driving an another traffic offence following the collision on Wine Drive at about 7.59am on Saturday which saw the driver of the second vehicle treated on the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics for minor injuries.
The woman, who was granted bail, will front court in July.
EARLIER: Three people have been hospitalised in a two-vehicle crash while another two-vehicle collision is under investigation by police in a busy morning for emergency services.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said emergency services responded to a crash between two vehicles on Ruthven and Bridge streets at about 11.23am on Saturday.
Paramedics transported three patients to Toowoomba Base Hospital in stable conditions.
Earlier in the day emergency services were called to a separate two-vehicle collision on Wine Drive, Wilsonton Heights at 7.59am.
A Queensland Police spokesman said one person suffered minor injuries in the collision, and police were investigating the cause of the crash to determine whether alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
The crashes come on a busy day on Toowoomba roads as police look to be out in force for Operation Cold Snap, which started on Friday will run through the winter holiday period.
Darling Down District Police Tactician Acting-Senior Sergeant Jo Goodwin said motorists can expect a high-visibility police operation.
“We will focus on the rural roads and highways to ensure people travelling get to their destination safely,” she said.
There will be increased police patrols along with more random roadside breath tests and speed traps.
