Students from East Toowoomba State School were filled with excitement at their Book Week parade on Friday morning.
Dressing up as an adorable trio were Noah Cochrane and Samuel Quinn who both came dressed as Cat in the Hat from the Dr. Seuss book, as well as Luca Vriesema, who dressed as Sam I Am, with green eggs and ham.
Iron Man, Captain America, Disney princesses and Dorothy with her trusty dog Toto, from the Wizard of Oz, also made an appearance at the parade.
East Toowoomba State School teacher Peta Ellingsen said it had been enjoyable to witness the enthusiasm from students throughout the week.
“Book Week is about celebrating books and literature,” Ms Ellingsen said.
“The excitement that dressing up in costumes brings to the kids is incredible.”
Book Week finished on Friday.
