Fresh Produce, the new music festival produced by the people behind Groovin the Moo, have released some juicy information that will be sweet music to live punters ears.

Created in 2005, Cattleyard Promotions pride themselves on being world-class leaders in creating, developing and promoting the freshest talent with their latest music event venture, Fresh Produce set to reach eight regions around the country later this year.

“We are absolutely stoked to announce that four of our eight festivals, including Townsville,

Toowoomba, Glenorchy in Tasmania and Bendigo in Victoria are now opening up to be zone-free and becoming a “Fruit Salad” festival,” a Cattleyard Promotions spokeswoman said.

“This means that COVID restrictions have been relaxed to allow more freedom of movement

around the whole festival site – no more separate fruit zone. You and your mates can wander around at your leisure!”

Live music venues face closure as 'urgent' pleas for support 'fall on deaf ears'

Co-founder and director of Cattleyard Promotions, Steve Halpin said they are still working closely with the relevant health authorities in the four remaining regions with the aim to also move to open sites.

“We are thrilled that we’re able to open up four of our festivals and offer zone-free good times,” he said.

“Fresh Produce is a new and ever-evolving event and as restrictions continue to ease across the country, we will be able to offer even more to our patrons.”
Originally launched with the plan to have the audience members separated into several zones named after different fruits, the new festival layout for the Toowoomba showgrounds will now be more free range, just like the good old days before COVID-Safe plans brought about the need to social distance.

With six of the most succulent home grown artists set to bring all the good tunes and

vibes to the eight separate festival regions across the country Fresh Produce is set to bring back the music festival vibes this Spring.
Iconic national acts G Flip, Cosmo’s Midnight and Hockey Dad, who have stepped in to take over from Perth band Spacey Jane, will hit the stage on the Friday evening show and Lime Cordiale, Mallrat and Hooligan Hefs will play on the Saturday night.
They’ll be joined by over 10 of the juiciest local artists from each region and surrounds across the weekend including JK-47, Jaguar Jonzem Lavanda, Jacknife, Reggie Gray, Hope D, SWISH Music, Cloe Terare, Rave Radio and Ya Girl Party B.
