Helicopter to rescue teenager stuck on rock in Toowoomba
A teenage climber has escaped uninjured after he was caught in a precarious position on a rock face in the Darling Downs.

A climber has had a lucky escape after he found himself in a precarious position along an escarpment in the Darling Downs.
The 19-year-old was climbing in Jubilee Park, Mt Lofty with some friends when found himself in some trouble, caught hanging onto a rock face in the heat of the day.
Fire crews and paramedics were called to the Mackenzie St Lookout as they staged a rescue operation, as one officer was lowered down to the teen, and a rescue helicopter winched him to safety, a QFD spokeswoman said.
The teen was luckily uninjured.
