Adrian Cubit and Josie Adams have breathed a collective sigh of relief at the raging success of their opening weekend at 4 Brothers Brewing on Margaret Street.
The trendy taphouse welcomed its first customers through the doors on Friday evening, and from there the owners heard nothing but positive feedback for the weekend.
“The atmosphere has been enjoyable so everyone that has come in has had an awesome time,” Mr Cubit said.
Ms Adams described the food on offer as “ridiculously good”, thanks to a chef who worked in Europe, and has brought his culinary expertise to the Darling Downs.
She said the thing that sets the taphouse apart from others in the city was not only the food, but the family-friendly atmosphere.
“It’s been a really relaxed, nice vibe,” she said.
With their central location a major selling point, the business had a steady stream of customers, which they say bodes well for their future at the site.
“Things are going well in the CBD here so I think we can only build on our opening weekend and have a really successful hospitality venue,” Mr Cubit said.
