Fire crews respond to truck fire at Cecil Plains

Two fire crews and police have attended a truck blaze west of Toowoomba early this morning.

A truck blaze near Cecil Plains has prompted an early morning call to fire crews.

Firefighters were alerted of the fire at 4.15am, arriving on scene at Dalby Cecil Plains Rd within 15 minutes.

It was here they came upon a prime mover fully involved in fire, according to a Queensland Fire Services spokeswoman.

The trailer of the truck was empty at the time and all persons were accounted for.

Two crews worked to extinguish the blaze by 4.50am and then washed down the road way.

Police were also in attendance.
