Multiple fire crews, including air support, have been called out to grass fires near Dalby and Chinchilla.
Queensland Fire Department has issued a stay informed warning for residents to stay incformed as fire crews battle a large grass fire on Dalby Cecil Plains Rd about noon on Friday.
The warning area include Wilds Rd, Warrego Highway, Newtown Stephen Rd, Duncans Rd and Ritters Rd.
Graders are currently working to build breaks in the fire as air support has been called in, a QFD spokesman said.
Residents, workers, and visitors in the area are asked to stay informed as conditions could change, but at this time there is no immediate danger.
Residents are also being warned of a fire burning at Canaga, near Chinchilla.
Crews are responding to the fire which started about 12.40 between Southern Boundary Rd, Davis Rd, Woods Rd, Blowers Rd and Pit Rd.
Firefighting aircraft have been brought in to assist ground crews.
