In a play fitting for the spooky season, a regional Queensland musical theatre company is filling up the Empire with laughs and gasps with an exhilaratingly horrific performance.
Little Shop of Horrors in a dark comedy musical which explores how a floral assistant discovers an exotic plant who he names after his co-worker crush.
In exchange of feeding its craving for human blood, the foul-mouthed, carnivorous, singing plant promises the down and out assistant fame and fortune – until he discovers the plant’s evil plan.
Brought to you by Shoebox Theatre Company, a community musical theatre company that has brought exceptional shows to the city for the past decade.
“The show features one of the most talented casts we have had the pleasure to work with and the production has been a thrilling mix of excitement, fun and quirkiness to bring to life,” producer Simon Duncan said.
Little Shop of Horrors is on at the Empire for three night from October 24-26.
