Man seriously injured after chainsaw incident in Glen Aplin
A man with a gruesome leg injury has been flown to Brisbane after a chainsaw accident in the Southern Downs. It comes after a two-car-crash in the same region.

A rescue helicopter has flown a man to Brisbane after he was seriously hurt in a chainsaw accident in the Southern Downs.
Paramedics and the chopper were called to the property in Glen Aplin, just before 8.30am on Saturday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man in his 50s was taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital with “potentially life-threatening injuries,” at 11.45am.
Later Saturday, a primary-school aged girl was taken to Ipswich Hospital with a minor arm injury after a quad bike incident on a private property at Adare in the Lockyer Valley Region.
A QAS spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the property at 10.11am on Saturday.
Earlier, two people were rushed to hospital after their cars collided on a busy Toowoomba intersection.
Emergency services were called to the corner of Anzac Ave and James St just after midnight at 12.05am on Saturday, after the crash, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
A QAS spokeswoman said two people were taken to Toowoomba hospital in a stable condition.
