Dashcam footage has captured the heart-stopping moment an out of control trailer crashed across a median strip and into oncoming traffic on the highway near Toowoomba.

The driver, who posted the footage to Toowoomba Dashcam incidents, said he had been passing Toowoomba when a six wheeled trailer carrying a Bobcat “exploded” through the median strip from the outbound lanes, narrowly missing a white ute and ending up overturned in a ditch alongside the inbound lanes.

“Luckily there were no injuries,” the man said.

“We were shocked and didn’t get the contact details of the guy in the white ute – we’ve been wondering how he is.”
