Investigators will on Monday look at the cause of a fire that gutted a unit on the edge of the Toowoomba CBD the previous evening.
Emergency services were called to the fire on Isabel Street in Toowoomba City on Sunday about 6.30pm, with crews arriving to find the structure “well-involved”.
All occupants of the home were accounted for by authorities.
The blaze was brought under control before 7pm, with crews running atmospheric tests before neighbouring residents could be allowed to return to the homes.
The fire investigation unit will look for the cause but it is unclear whether the fire will be declared suspicious.
