1. Attend the Tiny Tots Market
THE Tiny Tots market is Toowoomba’s only babies and kids market and is taking place this Sunday from 9am to noon at Centenary Heights State High School. This is the second market for the year and will be winter themed, promising to be the biggest yet with kids’ Zumba sessions, cookie decorating sessions and free face painting. There will be a mix of preloved stalls and local businesses – including services such as the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
2. Weave a connection at Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery
Felicity Chapman is a proud Wiradjuri woman who recently travelled from Ngaro and Gia country (Airlie Beach) to participate as Toowoomba’s second feature artist in the Toowoomba Arts Footprint, Artists in Residence Program.
Chapman’s exhibition, Weaving Connections, displays works by Chapman and her workshop participants and showcases the weaving and friendships she has made in Toowoomba’s community throughout her residency.
Come together at the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery on Sunday at 1.30pm to hear directly from the makers who will discuss the cultural practice of weaving and share their personal weaving journeys.

3. Enjoy a bombshell burlesque show at the Empire Theatre
Lovers of fashion and frivolity are in for a treat on Saturday at 7pm with fashion parades and cabaret performances unveiled at the final event for The Toowoomba Arts Footprint project.
Hosted at the iconic Empire Theatre, tickets are now on sale for this one night only spectacular, featuring 12 handmade corsets and lingerie sets from Toowoomba Heritage Corsetry Artisan Lorraine White.

4. Enjoy a ladies night in at Smoke and Mirrors boutique
Organise a babysitter, break out the lipstick, and join Smoke and Mirrors in-store from 5pm on Saturday for drinks, nibbles, and a good yarn.

5. Relax at Aberfeldy’s Sunday sesh and markets
One of Toowoomba’s premier function centres, Aberfeldy Farm and Barn in Westbrook is hosting a Sunday sesh from noon with live music and markets.
Finish your weekend off on a good note by bringing your own drinks and relaxing on the lawn to tunes from Boyd Ridley in a beautiful, tranquil country setting.
6. Shop ’til you drop at Makers Markets
The Makers Markets are back for another fun filled Sunday with live music, jumping castle face painting and rock climbing wall the kids will be entertained from 9am-1pm at the Mills Precinct. Head down and grab a bite to eat and support the Toowoomba Club House and browse the 50 plus vendors on offer.
7. Get your inner pinball warrior on at Spacie’s arcade
Spacie’s retro games arcade is hosting a free international Flipper Pinball Association information and pinball competition event on Sunday from 3pm to teach Toowoomba players all about what is required to take part in sanctioned pinball competitions.
No registration is required, simply come along and bring family and friends for five games of free pinball to learn more ahead of Spacie’s first IFPA sanctioned event which will be held in August.
8. Browse a range of priceless collectables at the antique fair
Head down to the Toowoomba Antique Collectable Fair to browse and buy a range of incredible collectable items on Saturday from 9am-4pm and on Sunday from 9am-2pm in the Toowoomba Showground Founders Pavilion.
There will also be a collectable car show and shine display and a chance for a visitor to the fair to win one of four $50 fuel vouchers by voting for the car that you would love to own so make sure to cast your votes to be in the running to win.
9. Enjoy a cold one at new brewery
4 Brothers Brewing has finally opened up its new taproom on Margaret Street beside Pinot and Picasso and is hosting a whole weekend worth of fun for their new customers and old regulars to enjoy.

10. Get your game face on at the Boardgamers’ monthly meet
Toowoomba Board Gamers is hosting its monthly boardgame meet up at Battlestation Toowoomba on Ruthven Street at noon to 5pm this Sunday.
Entry is only $3 and players of skill levels are welcome, everyone is welcome to attend and play but players under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
