A YOUNG woman received an infringement notice after she caused a traffic crash Saturday night.

The 18-year-old driver failed to give way as she turned right at the corner of Hursley Rd and Tor St at 7.10pm.

She collided with an on-coming vehicle, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were called to assess three patients.

One was transported to Toowoomba Hospital for observation, complaining of chest pain.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. There was no evidence of drink driving.
