The CFS has downgraded its warning for Mylor to ‘monitor conditions’ as fire burns in the Hills

The CFS has downgraded its warning for residents in the area around Mylor as firefighters struggle to control a blaze.

The CFS has downgraded its previous “leave now” warning to residents around Mylor as a grass fire burns near the South Eastern Freeway between Bridgewater and Hahndorf.

Residents in the affected area have now been told to “onitor conditions” as the fire continues to burn.

There is no longer any threat to life or property.

Smoke is impacting visibility along the freeway with SAPOL slowing traffic in affected areas.

There are 64 personnel on the ground fighting the blaze, along with 16 trucks, three command vehicles and air support.
