Last year, two Marryatville High School students were seriously injured after being struck by a truck outside the pedestrian crossing.
Student Amity Nield, 16, was seriously injured while 16-year-old Isaac Jones was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the truck, Sang Van Huynh, 60, of Ottoway, was charged with two counts of causing injury by dangerous driving.
He allegedly ran a red light, denied his conduct behind the wheel amounts to dangerous driving.
In the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Sang Van Huynh pleaded not guilty to two counts of causing serious harm by dangerous driving.
