A man wanted over four large scale drug operations involving nearly 1000 cannabis plants has been arrested during a traffic stop.
Police stopped a car driving on Grand Junction Rd at Pennington on Saturday afternoon who was wanted in connection to separate investigations of cannabis cultivation.
In June last year police raided a home at Sellicks Beach and found 225 cannabis plants being grown.
The following month a Smithfield Plains property was searched and a further 225 plants were located.
At about 5pm Saturday, police were called to a house fire on Fairfield Tce at Elizabeth Grove where they found 189 cannabis plants and kilograms of dried weed.
The stash was linked to the already arrested man, and a further raid of an Elizabeth North home uncovered 237 cannabis plants being grown.
The man of no fixed address, 30, was charged with three counts of cultivating a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and two counts of trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.
He was refused bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
