After another successful year of Toowoomba’s Festival of Food and Wine, muso lovers won’t need to wait too long for their next big gig, with an exciting music festival heading to the Garden City.
To celebrate Icehouse’s classic hit Great Southern Land, the popular Australian rock band has been announced as the headlining act for the 2022 Red Hot Summer Tour.
Taking to the stage of just two Queensland venues, the band will perform at Toowoomba’s Queens Park, before heading to Harrigans in Jacobs Well.
Other guest musicians will include Christine Anu, Vanessa Amorosi, James Reyne, The Angels, Baby Animals and Emily Wurramura.
Touring the country for more than a decade, the Red Hot Summer Tour will be in Toowoomba on Saturday, May 7 and is renowned for being a sellout show.
Tickets will be available to purchase at 10am on Tuesday, October 26.
