Lockyer Valley man in his 60s suffers potentially life-threatening injury after farming incident

A man has been flown to hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition after an incident at a Lockyer Valley farm.

A man has been flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition after suffering a serious leg injury.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics arrived at the Mount Whitestone property just after 12.30pm.

It’s understood the man is aged in his 60s and that the injury happened when a cable snapped while installing metal fencing at the private property.

The LifeFlight rescue helicopter was called in to take the man to hospital for further treatment after the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics at the scene.
