Paramedics have responded to multiple snakebite call-outs in recent days despite cooling weather.

Two have been in the Mackay region where a jogger in her 20s recently went off a cliff after being bitten at Slade Point.

On Saturday, paramedics were called to a property at Andergrove following reports another woman had been bitten about 1.10am.

She was taken to Mackay hospital in a stable condition.

It comes three days after a man in his 50s was bitten by a snake at a Mackay property on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, a man in his 40s was bitten on the leg at Cairns about 7.14pm.

Both men were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

There’s also been call-outs in the state’s south.

A man in his 60s was bitten by a snake at Warwick overnight.

Paramedics were called to the property at 7.14pm Friday and took the man to Warwick hospital in a stable condition.

Last Sunday, at Coominya west of Brisbane, a man in his 60s was bitten about 9.09pm and taken to Ipswich hospital, also in a stable condition.
