Emergency services rush to collision between bus and car

Emergency services have scrambled to the scene of a collision between a bus and a car in the Gympie region.

Emergency services have scrambled to the scene of a collision between a bus and a car in the Gympie region.

Queensland Ambulance Service said a car and bus collided at 5.26am on Tin Can Bay Rd at Canina.

One stable patient has been taken to Gympie Hospital.

Authorities said fortunately no passengers were on the bus at the time of the collision, and there were no other injuries reported.

Meanwhile, at Walligan, a woman in in her 20s with a leg injury has been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital following a motorcycle crash on Maryborough Hervey Bay Road at 5.54pm on Monday.
