A boy has been flown to the Bundaberg hospital after he lost control of his motocross bike and crashed into a ditch.
The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew treated the young rider following the motocross accident at Mundubbera in the North Burnett region.
The helicopter was tasked to a recreational park about 3:30pm on Sunday.
The LifeFlight helicopter landed close to the scene and the LifeFlight critical care doctor, flight paramedic and local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated him for a significant leg injury.
He was flown to the Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
It comes after a woman in her 20s was flown in a stable condition from near Gympie to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital on Thursday afternoon after an attempted dirt bike jump went badly wrong.
On Friday, a young boy was killed in a buggy rollover on a private property near Noosa.
Emergency services were called to the property at Cooran around 3.30pm where the young boy, aged under 10, had suffered critical injuries.
A rescue helicopter was sent to the scene and paramedics attempted to work on the boy but he could not be saved.
