A renovated home in the Whitsundays with stunning ocean views has sold for $1.05 million to buyers from Victoria looking to relocate to the region.
The home sold on March 24 through Explore Property Whitsunday.
Sales representative Aaron Squires said there was a stack of interest in the property even before it hit the market.
“I received three verbal offers prior to the first open home,” Mr Squires said.
“It was incredible.
“The contracts were signed within four days. It was a very fast transaction.
“It was a great result for the area and a great result for my client who put a lot of effort into it.
“It is just in a fabulous location at the end of the day.”
He said the buyers were from Victoria and would be relocating to the region.
“They are looking forward to moving up to sunny North Queensland,” he said.
The home was built in 1995 and boasts three bedrooms, two brand new bathrooms, renovated kitchen with stone benchtops, open plan living and dining area with raked ceilings, polished hardwood floors, study, laundry with toilet, large veranda with ocean views and two-car undercover parking.
The backyard boasts an in-ground pool with an eco-deck, private Lanai and fire pit.
Mr Squires said the buyer pool in the Whitsunday property market “far outweighed the sellers tenfold”.
“The market is really slow in a sense of listings,” he said.
“Things have started to pick up a bit now.
“There’s no reason not to want to sell because the buyer is so large and when things hit the market it is just incredible.
“As soon as something hits the market it is instantly attractive.”
