A crucial inland highway has been closed following a single vehicle crash into a power pole.
Emergency crews were called to Peter Delemothe Road in Bowen around 7.35am, near the intersection with Burnfoot Road
A paramedic said the single occupant has no injuries, and had left the road and run into the power pole.
The road has been closed in both directions since.
Queensland Fire said no one was trapped in their vehicle, and they were assisting to clear the scene while Energex were working on the downed power lines.
Queensland Police is working to reopen the road.
