A family favourite in the region and attracting almost 50,000 visitors each year, Darling Downs Zoo is an iconic tourist stop at Pilton on the Darling Downs.
Earlier this year it was announced the long-standing, family run business owned by the Robinson family would head to auction.
The Robinson family has owned and run the popular tourist attraction for almost two decades, making the heartbreaking decision to part with their beloved zoo to focus on health and family.
Originally listed by Allora property agents Properties Ruhle to go under the hammer via private auction by tender in July, the Darling Downs treasure is now back up for private sale.
Properties Ruhle agent Sheridan Ruhle said despite the many tenders received during auction, an agreement wasn’t able to be reached and the business had now been listed for private sale.
Offers are to start from $7m for the 48ha property which includes an assortment of 500 animals and 150 species.
