Daniel Drive alleged stabbing: Juvenile charged and man hospitalised

A 15-year-old will face court in January after an alleged altercation at a home in west Warwick which resulted in a man being flown to hospital.

A man has been flown to hospital and a juvenile will face court after an alleged altercation at a Warwick home.

It is understood about 9.30pm Sunday, December 3, an adult male was allegedly stabbed following an altercation with a teenage boy.

Warwick police confirmed on Tuesday the 15-year-old was known to the occupants, and there was no family relation between the alleged victim and the juvenile.

The man was flown to hospital in Brisbane, with his injuries not expected to be life threatening.

Forensic investigators and uniformed officers were on scene Sunday night, and Warwick CIB detectives are currently investigating the matter.

It is understood the juvenile has been charged, but is not in custody.

He is expected to face court in January.
