UPDATE 1.30PM:

In the bronze medal game, U14 boys team Sunshine Coast Gold defeated Mantas 8-4.

"As a regional team, I thought the biggest positives were we got better and better as the tournament went on,'' Sunshine Coast coach Dean Carselse said.

"The kids are still young. It is an awesome age group where there are lots of Queensland representatives in every team, so it is good for the future of this division. I am really proud of the boys.''

Three Sunshine Coast water polo forces will fight for glory in the pool on Monday as the state titles grand final day kicks off.

The nine U14, U18 and open match deciders will be played following four days of preliminary rounds on the Gold Coast.

Sunshine Coast Gold will play Mermaids Rose in the U18 White gold division, while Kawana will face off with Loreto in the U18 White bronze division.

Then the Kawana Vikings will battle River City in the Open Boys bronze division.

The action from the Queensland Water Polo state titles in the gold division will be livestreamed from midday right here on the Daily's website.
