Vehicle and bicycle crash injures cyclist in Mudjimba

A man has been hospitalised after a bicycle and vehicle crash this morning on the Sunshine Coast.

A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car on the Sunshine Coast this morning.

The man, who was riding a bicycle, was hit in Mudjimba at 6.18am this morning.

A vehicle, believed to be a ute towing a boat, collided with the cyclist on Nojoor Road and Ocean Drive.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man in his 20s was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with leg and hip injuries.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said no charges or investigations were being conducted at this stage.
