Three people have been rushed to hospital in two separate crashes on the Sunshine Coast overnight both involving collisions with parked cars.

Three people have been rushed to hospital in two separate crashes on the Sunshine Coast overnight.
At Burnside, two people were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a car crash with a parked car on Carter Rd at 7.46pm.
A female, 20, was treated for significant facial injuries and a man, 20, for back pain.
At Golden Beach another person was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a car collided with a car parked car on Baldwin St at 6.52pm.
Two in hospital after two-truck crash shuts motorway – Wednesday
A major Sunshine Coast road has closed following a crash involving several vehicles as paramedics rushed patients to hospital.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the multi-vehicle crash was reported about 3.10pm on Wednesday on the Sunshine Motorway at Marcoola.
Police have closed both lanes on the motorway and diversions are in place, the spokeswoman said.
The crash had involved two trucks and one car.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said two fire crews have been called to clean up an oil spill caused by the crash.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said two patients at the scene were transported to hospital, one being sent to Sunshine Coast University Hospital and one to Nambour Hospital.
One of the two patients is a female who sustained neck injuries and both are in a stable condition.
Two patients at the scene declined transport.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
