Qld scaffolding company, Australis Scaffolding Pty Ltd, enters voluntary administration

A Queensland scaffolding company, which supplies equipment for projects from the Gold Coast to Bundaberg, has entered voluntary administration.

A Sunshine Coast-based scaffolding company, with offices across south east Queensland in Maryborough, Gympie and the Lockyer Valley, has brought in an administrator.

According to an Australian Securities and Investment Commission notice the company, Australis Scaffolding Pty ltd, voluntarily appointed administrator from Vincent’s, Nick Combis, on Monday.

ASIC documents list the directors of the company as, Scott Peter Jury, Kevin Joseph Lee and Luke Harper-Green, with Mr Jury and Mr Lee acting in those roles since the company was first registered.

Mr Jury also acts as the company’s secretary, according to the documents.

The company began trading in September 2021 and Mr Harper-Green was subsequently appointed as a director in June 2022.

According to the company’s website, the scaffolding business operates from a head office in Chevallum, with other offices in Gympie, Maryborough and the Lockyer Valley.

The website states the company supplies scaffolding to projects from the Gold Coast to Bundaberg.

Administrator, Mr Combis said he was working with the directors of the company and expected to be reporting to creditors in due course.

Mr Combis said the administration was in its “infancy” and it was not yet known how much may be owed to creditors.

Australis Scaffolding has been contacted for comment.
